(2021-2022)

At WWLP, my job was to produce promos of various lengths for the evening and nightly news. On top of that, I also had to create promos for the station as a whole, as well as PSAs for different community events happening around the Western Massachusetts area.

LEVEL

(2021; Release Date: TBD)

This short film is the culmination of my four years of film school. LEVEL is a story about Jae and Dippy who are two impoverished kids who are trying to escape their harsh living conditions by any means necessary—including robbing a convenience store. This project was definitely the biggest production I have ever worked on in school as it was my first taste of what it meant to be an actual producer. While it was extremely stressful at times, the experience I learned during the making of LEVEL was invaluable.

During my sophomore year, I teamed with a private equity company to help produce video content in order to gain experience creating videos for someone else. All the content can be found on the Rocco Forino YouTube Channel as well as abridged versions on his social media like Instagram.

Quinnipiac University has a student-run TV station known as Q30. One of the shows Q30 does is an entertainment recap show called #That (Hashtag That). I normally serve a production assistant on the show as I help set equipment as well as run them. Other times I help shoot and or edit a variety of packages/B-Roll that they would air live. (Note: the following footage has been ripped directly from the Q30 Youtube Channel so the quality may be lowered.)

TEDxCrenshaw

(2020)

During the spring semester of my junior year, I had the opportunity to work for a TEDx organization in Los Angeles, California for an internship. While there I did some small edits for social media posts but primarily worked on a thirty-minute documentary about the team that organizes this even as well as the Crenshaw community as a whole.

Note: only a sample of the documentary is uploaded.

Debug News was a weekly recap of interesting news that has happened in the realm of the entertainment industry; ranging from TV to Video Games. Only two episodes were made as I had to devote more of my time to my school work and college prep.

During the start of my junior year, I decided to join Q30's "SNL like" show "Quinnipiac Tonight". When the club started I was given the opportunity to produce a short that the writing team came up with about two tour guides and their inner thoughts during a tour with a group of crazy students and their parents. While the shoot and edit were fun, this was also the first time I learned to work with the FCC guidelines as I had to censor most of the dialogue that was in the script to meet it.

This is probably the most fun video I did during my freshman year. It wasn't just because my friend's script was so good, but it was also fun because I discovered that I was surprisingly effective on the camera switcher. (Note: the quality of the video had to be lowered in order for it to be uploaded.)

This is one of the projects I did for the Intermediate Production class I took during my sophomore year. I goal of this assignment was to make a story set to music (it's technically not a music video but I choose to call it as such) without any dialogue. Like the "Original Shoe Commercial" I had free rein on this video and, other than the lighting in some areas, I am happy with the way it turned out.

(2019)

This was the final project to my Intermediate Production class in which we had to do make a short without any dialogue while also using all three stages of production(i.e Pre-production, production, and post-production) as if it were an actual shoot. I feel as though this video, in particular, highlights my style of writing, editing, etc. perfectly as I tried my best to have fun with the whole process (which was a lot harder to do than I thought) especially when it came to my choice in music.

For this video, we were tasked with creating our own original shoe commercial. For my commercial, I wanted to almost parody the sports shoe commercials by having the player completely airball his shot and ending it with the line "the shoes can only do so much."
